Words have power.

It’s something I say over and over again.

I love words because of their power to connect us. In person, in messages, in songs, and over social media.

The words I write and share depend on what I’m feeling in the moment, what publication I’m writing for, and if I’m writing on behalf of myself, or for someone else. Often times, my stories are taken directly from my personal experience, but sometimes, they are fictionalized versions of my world. But they always have the same intent—connection.

Because that’s what life is all about. (Well, that…and love. Duh.)
